Invictus Speaker Reference MKII is the evolution of the Top of the Range and thanks to the technological implementation applied, it allows to improve every aspect of Invictus Speaker in order to achieve a true Reference in Hi-Fi audio listening.
Reference MKII changes its skin.
The new MKII version of theInvictus Speaker Reference from Ricable offers a more flexible cable, making installation easier and reducing mechanical stress on connections. The improved R-TEC main dielectric optimizes electrical transfer, ensuring a cleaner and more detailed audio signal. In addition, the redefined design, in line with the Reference series, not only enriches one's Hi-Fi system with a refined aesthetic, but also enhances its magnificence, transforming each system into a sonic and visual work of art.
The sound output is characterized by a definite improvement in dynamics and control, full-bodied and firm, well-defined bass, always great feeling of cleanliness and no listening fatigue. Voices well separated from the musical fabric allow for a new level of soundstage, with all instruments well placed on their respective sound planes.
When the Substance makes the Difference.
From an aesthetic point of view little has changed, the Reference can be recognized from its predecessor Invictus by its larger size and the non-magnetic/shielded carbon cable separation block, but in substance it is a different cable altogether. The conductors, still made of Copper 7N Marc, increase from 970 to 1,038 wires, which make up, together with the polymer-insulated center conductor, each 7.6 mm2 hexaphonic conductor.
The real innovation is in the double dielectric, made of two newly developed R-TEC polymers, which can decisively improve the dielectric constant and, consequently, the flow of the audio signal in the form INTERCONNECT of low-voltage electricity, and at the same time promote the functionality of the semiconductor (RNR Noise Reduction), which is also improved.
L'Innovation merges with tradition.
A Germanium semiconductor (RNR Technology Ricable Noise Reduction), improved in effectiveness, on all conductors cuts down background noise and hiss generated by audio media. Conductors are in the traditional Hexaphonic Geometry with as many as 1,038 0.08 mm wires structured in triple twist on a polymer-insulated center conductor.
Another important step was taken in the area of insulation and shielding. We introduced a new insulating material into the cable, in combination with the treated cotton. This operation allowed us to further strengthen the double shielding, without this intervention altering the electrical characteristics of the conductors, so as to further increase the degree of neutrality and transparency in sound reproduction.
