알림] Pink Folyd - The Early Years Box Set 관련 수정사항이 있어 알려드립니다. 수록 디스크 중 20번 CD에 본래 '2016 리믹스 Ver.'의 곡들이 수록되어야 하는데 '폼페이 라이브 Ver.'의 곡들이 수록되는 제작 오류가 있었다고 합니다. 이에 핑크 플로이드 레이블 측은 해당 마스터(폼페이 라이브 Ver.)를 제외 하기 보다는 발매일을 지키는 것이 더 낫다는 판단 하에 '2016 리믹스 Ver.'을 별개의 CD로 제작하였습니다. 수입사에서 해당 CD를 본상품 박스에 동봉한 후 발송해 드릴 예정이며, 본상품에 포함된 '폼페이 라이브 Ver.' 2016년 여름, 언론을 통해서 출시 소식이 전해진 후 많은 팬들을 기다리게 했던 핑크 플로이드의 박스셋 [The Early Years 1965-1972]가 드디어 공개된다. 로저 워터스,리처드 라이트, 닉 메이슨 그리고 시드 바렛이 런던의 한 대학에서 의기투합한 시절부터 시드 바렛의 탈퇴와 데이빗 길모어의 합류하는 시기에 그들이 남겼던 수많은 희귀 음원과 영상 그리고 각종 기념품을 총망라하고 있는 이번 박스셋은 책 디자인을 갖춘 총 7편의 불륨으로 구성되어 있으며, 아래와 같은 구성으로 이뤄져 있다.

EMI와 메이저 계약을 맺기 이전에 발표한 데모와 정규 앨범에 수록되지 않은 히트 싱글 등 시드 바렛의 존재감에 포커스를 맞춘 볼륨으로서, 1967년 스톡홀름에서 열린 콘서트의 미발표 녹음 테이프가 최초로 공개되어 있다. 함께 수록된 DVD/블루레이에는 이들의 역사적인 텔레비전 출연 음원뿐만 아니라 인터뷰 등 그간 접할 수 없었던 희귀 자료가 수록되어 있다.
■ 제 2 권 : 1968 GERMIN/ATION
시드 바렛 탈퇴 직후 핑크 플로이드 특유의 스타일을 발전시켜 나가던 시기를 집중 조명하는 볼륨으로, 정규 앨범에 수록되지 않은 싱글, 최근 발견된 캐피탈 레코드 스튜디오 세션 음원, BBC 세션등이 수록되어 있다. DVD/블루레이에는 최근 복각된 'Point Me At The Sky' 프로모션 비디오 클립을 비롯 벨기에, 프랑스 등 해외 지역에서의 텔레비젼 출연 영상 등이 수록되어 있다.
■ 제 3 권 : 1969 DRAMATIS/ATION
1969년에 시도된 2부작 라이브 프로덕션 [The Man]과 [The Journey]를 집중 조명하는 불륨으로서, 그간 정식으로 발표되지 않고 그 일부만 앨범 [More], [Ummagumma]를 통해 접할 수 있었던 위대한 실험의 전면을 만나볼 수 있다. 1969년 암스텔담에서 녹음된 [The Man]과 [The Journey]의 전체 실황, 앨범 [More] 미수록곡, BBC 라디오 세션 등의 오디오 자료가 수록되어 있으며, DVD/블루레이에는 프랑크 자파가 즉흥적으로 출연한 'Interstellar Overdrive'를 비롯하여 [The Man], [The Journey]의 리허설 영상 등이 소개되고 있다.
■ 제 4 권 : 1970 DEVI/ATION
기념비적 앨범 [Atom Heart Mother]와 미켈란젤로 안토니오니 감독의 영화 [자브리스키 포인트] 사운드트랙에 관련된 자료들이 집대성된 볼륨으로, 오케스트라와 함께 연주한 'Atom Heart Mother'의 BBC 초연 실황은 물론 밴드 멤버들만 참여한 초기의 스튜디오 버전이 소개되고 있다. 또한 [자브리스키 포인트] 사운드트랙에 수록되지 않았던 미공개 음원들이 수록되어 있으며 DVD/블루레이에는 미국, 프랑스, 영국 등지에서 촬영된 다양한 영상 자료와 더불어 [Atom Heart Mother] 오리지널 앨범의 4 채널 스테레오 믹스가 오디오 자료로 함께 수록되어 있다.
■ 제 5 권 : 1971 REVERBER/ATION
1971년 앨범 [Meddle] 그 중에서도 대표곡이라 할 수 있는 명곡 'Echoes'와 관련된 자료들과 당시의 활동을 조명하고 있는 불륨이다.
'Echoes'를 포함한 5곡의 BBC 라디오 세션을 감상할 수 있으며 DVD/블루레이에는 'Echoes'의 4채널 믹스 오디오를 비롯, 그들의 첫번째 일본 공연 영상 등이 수록되어 있다.
■ 제 6 권 : 1972 OBFUSC/ATION
앨범 [Obscured By Clouds]를 발표한 1972년의 활동을 재조명하는 볼륨으로 우선 오리지널 앨범의 믹스 버전이 최초로 공개되고 있다. 같은해 폼페이 원형극장 유적지에서 무관중으로 거행된 공연 실황이 5.1 채널 리믹스 음원으로 함께 소개되고 있으며, 프랑스 텔레비전 방송국에 수록된 영상, 1972년 6월 브라이튼 돔에서 열린 공연, 로랑 프티 발레단과의 공연 영상 등이 포함되어 있다.
■ 제 7 권 : BONUS CONTINU/ATION
본 박스셋을 통해서만 접할 수 있는 각종 보너스 자료들이 수록되어 있는 마지막 볼륨으로, 1969년 NASA에 의한 달 착륙 생중계시 사운드 트랙 용도로 핑크 플로이드가 제공한 음원을 비롯 각종 라이브 영상과 페스티벌에서의 연주들이 소개되고 있다.
