앞서 새로운 참신한 해석의 슈만 바이올린 협주곡으로 대단히 열렬한 호평을 받았던 파우스트가 역시나 커트현 1704년 스트라디바리, ‘잠자는 숲 속의 미녀’를 사용하여 안드레아스 슈타이어의 카덴차와 일 자르디노 아르모니코와 더할 나위 없이 완벽한 조합을 보여준다. 파우스트만의 부드럽고 따듯하면서도 정확한 음색 속에 끊임없이 변화하는 연주 그리고 일 자르디노 아르모니코의 아름다운 현이 최상의 사운드로 레코딩 되었다. 인기 있는 모차르트의 5개의 빛나는 바이올린 협주곡은 그가 겨우 17살에 첫 바이올린 협주곡을 시작으로 1775년 19살에 모두를 완성 하였으며 잘츠부르크 궁정 악장으로 일하고 있던 그는 잘츠부르크 연회에 배경음악으로 사용하곤 하였다. 순수한 선율의 기쁨 속에 신선한 생기와 활력이 넘치는 이 작품들은 독일, 프랑스, 오스트리아, 이탈리아 등 유럽 여러 나라의 양식이 양식을 담고 있다.
