류트로 이렇게 훌륭한 바흐의 첼로 조공을 들을 수 있다니!! 음을 처음부터 끝까지 제어할 수 있는 줄비빔악기가 그려내는 것과는 다른, 최초의 튕기는 행위 후에는 연주자가 제어할 수 없는 줄튕김악기특유의 자연적인 미와 인간의 본성이 배제된 고고한 매란의 기품이 느껴진다. 손가락이 현에 닿는 느낌이 전해지는듯한 훌륭한 탄현, 예쁘고 둥글게 표현된 소리.훌륭한 공간감, 맑은 녹음 등이 어우려져 첼로의 성서를 "류트의 성서"화시켜 놓고 있다. 류트의 대가 사토는 14줄의 바로크 류트에 현대에 쓰는 나일론이 아니라 당시에 사용하던 민감한 컨트현을 사용해 보다 바흐의 시대에 가까이 접근하고 있다
