The world's first SACD of super high-resolution "fantasies", still highly regarded as Klemperer's own performances, is an excellent recording where the opposing arrangement is effective. We reproduce the best sound quality with SACD. This
is the world's first CD "Fantasy Symphony", famous for its ultra-high-resolution performances, with a new commentary- like Klemperer and a dry, microscopic perspective. It is released 150 years after Berlioz died in 2019. Among them, the Klemperer board can be said to be a masterpiece that remains in the history of recording as a unique performance of the rightmost wing that stands in a micro perspective. The effect due to the opposing arrangement is further enhanced by the high sound quality. Recording is also excellent. A new commentary by a leading expert on current Klemperer interpretation has been posted. For this reprint, mastering was performed separately for the SACD layer and CD layer separately, using a master digitized from the original master of the home country at 96 kHz / 24 bits. It is a permanent preservation board.
Klemperer has featured many of these "Fantasy Symphonies" in the demonstrations, and he seems to have played a lot, especially before the war. However, after the war there was not an opportunity, and the reason for the recording in 1963 was the success of the performance after a long time in May 1962. The unique performance seems to have revealed the Klemperer itself, and in the heavy tempo of the gait, the transparent sound as if to be able to see through every corner and the balance of each instrument and the Berlioz's unique orchestration are disassembled and re-reproduced. The structure is as if it were built, and it is drawn thoroughly and thoroughly. The undulations are never flat, and sometimes there is a strong force. It is a performance that can be admired that there are many fans. With this SACD, the cool sound has been reproduced more than ever before, and the listeners will feel the essence of Klemperer's music, which has gone a step further. Also, as in the first Klemperer project (Mozart 2 works), a new commentary by a leading expert on modern Klemperer interpretation has been posted.
In this series, the SACD layer aims at a high-resolution and rich sound field with soft high-frequency and soft nuances, and the CD layer aims at a realistic tone that is pushed out with a solid sound. The potential of the CD itself is also high, and please enjoy as a SACD hybrid board that you can enjoy both goodness rather. A total of 3 titles will be released in the 22nd edition of this Definition Series.
<Production notes>
Mastering is described in the manual of the main body, as it is, in order to make the best use of music after performing verification to compare with the sound source released in the past as much as possible, the original analog ・We will keep in mind the best mastering with respect to the master tape. In general, master tapes are materials at the stage before products, and their states and degrees differ depending on the recording age, the storage status, and the label policy for the master. Therefore, according to each final product form, in most cases, it is basically premised on the minimum necessary noise adjustment, although there is a difference.
In the case of this "fancy", the condition of the master tape was good, and there were no level differences between the left and right balance, the fall of the high region, and the lack of bandwidth balance and separation. It was the master of the level that almost no adjustment is necessary except adjusting peak levels.

Five:
Compared to the external CD of '92 EMI Remaster, the tape hiss has been removed excessively, the peaky highs have been rounded, and the left and right separations have been arbitrarily manipulated to "naturally sound" and be tailored to a contemporary sound ing. You seem to be tweaking the 96-24 data sent from your home country, but why do you do this extra? I strongly hope that the SACD layer has a sound that doesn't change anything, and that the CD layer has a sound remastered as you like.
