1979년 Lessons for the Lyra-Viol이라는 제목으로 발매된 조르디 사발의 ‘Astree’ 시절 명반이 Alia Vox에서 SACD Hybrid로 재발매 되었다.
이 앨범은 윌리엄 코킨과 알폰소 페라보스코가 17세기 초에 만든 대표적인 곡들을 포함하고 있어 더욱 주목받았다. 각 곡들은 풍성한 멜로디와 리드미컬한 무곡의 느낌을 동시에 전달하며 풍부한 정경을 펼쳐 보인다. 하나의 악기에서 이처럼 놀라운 음색과 깊은 표현을 들을 수 있다는 점에서 특별하다.
조르디 사발은 성격이 다른 두 대의 비올을 활용해 무궁무진한 비올의 음악 세계를 선보인다.
