라이라(Lyra)는 미국의 저명한 카트리지 디자이너 조나단 카(Jonathan Carr), 일본의 카트리지 마스터 요시노리 미시마(Yoshinori Mishima), 그리고 노르웨이 경영인 스티그 비요르(Stig Bjorge)가 이끄는 명품 카트리지 전문 제작사입니다. 1985년에 설립된 라이라의 본사는 일본 도쿄에 있고 라이라의 카트리지는 모두 일본에서 제작됩니다.

라이라 설립 40주년을 맞아 기획된 이 제품은 기존 Kleos MC 카트리지의 SL(Single Layer), 즉 저출력 버전입니다. 일반 버전이 0.5mV, SL 버전이 0.25mV입니다.
